Last weekend LSU hosted the #1 JUCO CB in the country in Elijah Blades who currently is enrolled at Arizona Western Community College. Elijah is one of the hottest JUCO recruits right now. He originally graduated from John Muir in Pasadena, California in 2017, he finished his high school career as a top 20 player in the state of California and top 15 in his respected position in the country. He was once committed to the University of Florida but eventually de-committed and signed with the University of Nebraska.
While at Arizona Western Blades has picked up offers from Alabama, Miami, Florida, Texas, Ole Miss, Tennessee, South Carolina and more. During his first recruiting cycle Blades didn't here from LSU one time and he picked up a offer from them on February 20th. Blades is a 6-foot-2 corner, he is long and has top notch speed. Extremely ideal for what LSU wants and has had in the past.
For the first time in years, LSU is extremely thin at corner and I expect them to sign at least 4 corners and 1 safety. Expect Blades to be a Tiger and make a immediate impact for that stout LSU defense.
